Hi,

I have been looking through your report tool and I think it's fantastic!

I was just wondering when generating (or emailing) the report in the html format there was a way of keeping the drill down option and sub-report link within the main report?

Another question but not as important but when generating the report in the report designer during inputting a restricting at the top so like an ID or a category choice like to either show a persons work or home address it can be done in a drop down box in the actual report?

Many thanks.

Thank you for your comment.
Actually generating an HTML result aims to have a standalone HTML file that works without any connection to a server, so I would say it is not possible to keep the drill links active in this version...
we could imagine to generate HTML file having links active (a new option) that trigger a request to the server, could be a feature request !

Sorry I don't get it, can you clarify your second question ?

Sorry the second question wasn't very well explained as I was in a little bit of rush.

Basically when you set restriction parameters for an object in the database I was wondering if there was a way
of creating a drop down list within the report itself that has been generated.

Just to make it easier for the end user instead of changing the restriction manually.

Something like the image below.

DropdownList

Many thanks.

Do you mean the Enumerated List feature (e.g. Product Categories in Northwind) ?
This can be defined in your Data Source and then linked to an element. When set the restriction appears in a Drop-Down list.
There is also a useful helper:
Select the Column in your source, then click the helper: 'Create enumerated list from this column'

You can check the samples provided.
