Hey,

The Check Data Sources tool is very usefull, however, I noticed it only checks the tables and joins for the current connection. Is there a way to check them for all the connections in the data source ?

No, it is not possible in one shot,
Just modify the current connection and re-run the Check Data Sources.
Could be future feature...
