I am trying to load a Excel xls file into the Seal Server Manager.

This file has "Call Detail Records" from a phone system.

That seems to work.

There are no errors connecting to the Excel file.

But I can't see the data.

Is there something special to load all the data?
Columns go from A to AG.
Row 1 is the name of the column
Row 2 is the first of the data
Row 43422 is the last of the data

Do I have to do something with the Definition Script?
Do I have to do something with the Load Script?

New to Seal Report.
Trying to figure things out.

You do not need to create a No SQL DataSource to query an Excel Sheet...
I just made a quick try on \Databases\databank.worldbank.org_health_population.xlsx
Create a new Data Source
  • In the connection, use the Helper Create Connection from Excel or MS Access
  • Then you can Add Table from Catalog... it should see the Data Sheet
  • Then in your model, you can query our new elements.

Note that you need 32bit Excel Drivers on your machine
Provider=MSDASQL.1;Extended Properties="DBQ=%SEALREPOSITORY%\Databases\databank.worldbank.org_health_population.xlsx;Driver={Microsoft Excel Driver (*.xls, *.xlsx, *.xlsm, *.xlsb)};"

If you want to continue using No SQL Source (which is another option), you should put some debug messages to understand what is going wrong in your load...
