When adding a new datasouce in Seal Server Manager, even if I checked the allow to save password checkbox, after confirmed configuration of connection string window, the password is still not saved.
any suggestion?

Yes, this is a strange behavior of the old ActiveX component used to build a connection string (it works fine on windows 10 but may have weird behavior),
I think it works better when you run the application in administrator mode.
Anyway it is not a big issue, you might type directly your user name and password if the dedicated fields after using the helper, no impact in doing that.
