Hello,
I just upgraded my development server from 6.1 to 6.5 and after the upgrade, all previous configuration settings have been lost.
Is there a way to retain the configuration when upgrading? Or, are there any release notes describing how to save the configuration before applying an upgrade?
Thanks, Yves

Normally configuration are kept when upgrading: Security\Security.xml Settings\Configuration.xml What is overridden could be the reports published in System and the Northwind demo. I just made the test right now and it is ok. So what did you loose ? Note that the 6.6 (Net 6) will be published soon... Edited by user Saturday, March 12, 2022 8:49:50 AM(UTC)

My Seal Repository is in a different folder than the default, after the upgraded I received an error that the default repository folder could not be found. I had to edit the various '.config' files. After I edited the files to point to the actual repository folder, the various settings were back. I figured this out after I posted my original message.
Do you know when 6.6 will be available, and what will be the new features?

ok, the repository location may have been lost depending on how setups were run, so you have to fix this manually when it happens. the 6.6 is mainly for .Net 6, few fixes and list of Logins for the 'Basic Authentication', also rework of the Task Scheduler / Seal Scheduler (this may be a migration issues from 6.x to 6.6) to allow Outer of Process execution from the service or the web server. available in 2-4 weeks as it is being integrating right now.
